BIOGRAPHY
Kat Moon is the director of Wham Bam Productions Ltd., a film and TV production company that produces and shoots films, commercials, music videos and corporate events. She has a Masters degree from London Film School (LFS), specializing in writing/directing, producing and editing. While at LFS, she wrote and directed several short films, one of which was produced in conjunction with and screened at the National Gallery in London. Prior to LFS, she attended New York University and obtained a BA in both Broadcast Journalism and Mass Communications, and Economics, as well as a Minor in Creative Writing. For her thesis, she traveled to Moscow and Kiev and made a documentary about a young piano virtuoso trying to make it big in the musical world. Furthermore, she has produced and edited a few shorts, including one, which was a winner in the 2006 Kodak Student Commercial Awards and a finalist for the David Porsche Awards in Germany. Her latest short, The Initiative, has been screened in the UK, various cities in the US, and India; it was recently awarded the Diamond Award at the California Film Awards. Kat previously worked in various media and film companies. Lately, she has been traveling between New York and London, working as a First Assistant Director on feature films.
